@MarkHamill Watched a New Hope with my 8yo daughter, her first time, while mom spent the day thrifting with Gran. She was really upset when Obi-Wan sac’d himself for the greater good. Until we talked about it and she realized that’s what Mom’s do and then she said “Mom’s like Old Ben”.

My ancestor from the 12th century made a fortune on capturing French knights and ransoming them. Built the Farleigh Hungerford Castle. He took a lot of peasants with him as cannon fodder to accomplish this goal.
