You know what shook me when I was Muslim?
The story of Hosea. God tells a prophet to marry a woman He knows will betray him.
She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, used up, worthless to the world.
And God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK.
To pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. Hosea 3.
I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Why would any man do that?
Then I realized I was the wife.
I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters. I sold myself cheap. I made myself worthless.
And God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.”
He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”
That’s the Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.
He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.
Islam told me to make myself worthy of God.
Hosea showed me a God who pays to redeem the unworthy.
The cross was Him naming the price.
Praise the Lord.
You know what wrecked me when I was newly Christian?
Genesis 22. For years as a Muslim, I was told the story was about Ishmael.
Then I actually read it and honestly, I think the bigger question isn't Isaac or Ishmael.
It's this: Why would God ask Abraham to sacrifice his son in the first place? What kind of God does that?
The answer hit me like a freight train.
God wasn't being cruel. He was painting a picture.
Because Abraham never goes through with it. God stops him.
And then God provides a ram in his place. That's not just a test.
That's prophecy. That's a blueprint.
A father.
A son.
A sacrifice.
A substitute.
Genesis 22 is the heartbeat of the Gospel. God was foreshadowing the day when He Himself would provide the sacrifice. Not for one man. Not for one family.
But for the whole world. Salvation wasn't earned by Abraham's performance.
It came through God's provision. Not your deeds.
Not your striving or your religious record.
A substitute. A gift.
And here's what made me stop and think: The Quran retells the story but removes the name of the son. Why?
Because once you start following the thread through Genesis, the prophets, and the covenant promises, you eventually have to wrestle with the Lamb that comes later.
You have to wrestle with Jesus. The perfect sacrifice that every previous sacrifice pointed toward.
And that's when I realized: The story was never ultimately about Abraham. It was always about what God was going to do for us.
And there's nothing we can do to earn His approval. We can only receive the sacrifice He already provided.
I bring home a trapped coyote and let it loose in the kitchen.
Hackles up. Teeth bared. Pissing on the floor.
My wife says, "Get it out."
I tell her that is a very unwelcoming and unchristian way to speak about a future house pet.
The children back into the hallway.
I tell them it's a rescue.
I tell them fences are fear.
I tell them cages are barbaric.
I tell them the old rules were cruel.
I tell them it will domesticate in time.
Then I grab my lunchbox and leave them to live with my principles.
When I get home, there is blood on the floor, and the experts who sold me on compassion are already explaining why nobody could have seen this coming.
Anyway, that's Western migration policy.
🚨 WOW! President Trump just DIRECTLY called out Lisa Murkowski for BLOCKING the SAVE America Act
"We have a few Republicans that are fighting it! Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. You should call her and tell her to GET ON THE BALL.
She'll NEVER win another election, I can tell you."
CALL MURKOWSKI!

@bennyjohnson Send in the military, remove the illegals and arrest any official that stands in the way and, while you're at it, remove that piece of shit from office.
JUST TO BE CLEAR 👇
I’m an America First MAGA conservative, but that doesn’t mean what a lot of you apparently think it does.
Let’s break it down, because I’M TIRED of being told what I believe and what I stand for.
Spoiler: not every conservative is the same, but most of us I know share these same principles.
1. I believe America should NEVER depend on another country for energy, protection, or basic supply and demand. We are strongest when we build, produce, and protect things right here in the USA.
2. I believe America MUST put itself first. We cannot pour from an empty cup. Our country should prioritize our own people before trying to save the world.
3. I believe America should STAY OUT of endless foreign conflicts. We are not the world’s sugar daddy, and we shouldn’t act like it.
4. I believe NO foreign aid should be given until EVERY veteran at home is taken care of.
5. I believe immigrants make America stronger — when they come LEGALLY. If your first act in this country is breaking the law, you AREN’T an upstanding citizen.
6. You can marry who you want. I may not agree with your lifestyle, but your life is not mine to judge, I leave that to God Almighty. Just don't FLAUNT your sexuality in public for ALL to see.
7. I believe men are men and women are women. Surgery or hormones don’t change that. Men should use men’s bathrooms, and women should use women’s bathrooms.
8. I believe schools are for education, not indoctrination. Kids should learn math, history, reading, and science - not political propaganda. They should not be taught "your country sucks," "your race is the best/worst" or "you were born in the wrong body."
9. I believe America is in a mental health crisis. Mental health care is REAL, it matters, and it desperately needs to be addressed. Bring back Mental Institutions!
10. I believe guns aren’t the problem - PEOPLE ARE. Gun control only infringes on constitutional rights. But I also believe in common sense: background checks are s good idea to keep firearms out of the hands of the mentally ill.
I’m a conservative because I believe in Faith, Family, Freedom, and Personal Responsibility.
I DON’T want a government that controls EVERY aspect of our lives!
I want a government that protects our rights, secures our borders, defends our freedoms, and then gets OUT OF THE DANG WAY.
We are strongest when Americans take care of America FIRST, when families are supported, when our veterans are honored, and when our children are given truth, not propaganda.
I love this country, and I believe it’s worth fighting for 🫡🇺🇸🙏✝️💪😎
