Public health specialist interested in global health, inequalities, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and chess. Deputy Regional Director @OHID, trustee @SpurgeonsUK
@Smithkjj@HealthFdn All good thoughts - thanks Kev. Making it convenient for staff definitely helps but I think we're seeing low take-up even in hospitals which are offering on-site vaccination and I'm worried by anecdotal reports of clinical staff being actively resistant/sceptical.
Excellent analysis of NHS winter pressures from @HealthFdn
From a public health perspective it's troubling that we're struggling with the most basic prevention measures.

Ageing populations everywhere mean more older people living longer lives (read: more healthcare use) and being supported by fewer young people.
So the healthcare bill (where most tax revenue is spent) is rising virtually everywhere.
