$eose What I'm thinking at the moment as an experienced investor in the stock market regarding Eos Energy @PoweredByEos
1. Sometimes there's a big fat pitch that comes down the plate. When those appear, you figure out what you can afford to lose, you lean back on the left foot, you put your hips into it, and you swing. You swing hard. Otherwise, buy index funds and leave the game.
2. The DoE loan was too telegraphed for too long. Which allowed all the market makers and $$$ professionals to use their fancy software and massive amounts of money to properly set themselves up.
3. Most of this was invisible to us, so from our limited retail perspective, the pitch remained fat.
4. In the short-term, looks like the professionals and the big money won the game at their level: they avoided a disastrous squeeze that would have devasted their funds. Tip of the cap.
5. In the long-term, which is the only time frame on which retail ever has the advantage, the game is just getting started. 1st inning ladies and gents, time to play ball!
6. At this point, after hundreds of hours of study, I understand Eos Energy better than any other company on the market. And in the larger context of the energy grid needing all the help it can get + the IRA tax credits to make that transition happen + the vetting by the US Department of Energy of Eos's battery tech, I feel confident in my assessment. Tip of the cap to @Zerosumgame33@xEBITDA@x_times_1@RyanTHawks@StonksReddit @sortalegendary1 @Cluster_6 and many others for the ceaseless due diligence. We are not making any of this up.
7. Therefore, the pitch has gotten even fatter.
8. The very hardest thing for all investors and humans to do is remain both confident in the fundamentals, and patient. Things take the time they take. Buy more if you can and sit your ass cheeks on your hands.
9. Equanimity in the face of adversity and the unexpected unknown developments that is the complex system of the stock market is hard. So practice it. Character-building oppotunity!
10. Go back to the fundamentals. Zoom out what we heard from California and what we know about Texas's ERCOT grid being held together with duct tape. Re-read the DoE announcement. Which side of the trade do you want to be on? How well wold you sleep being short Eos?
11. For those of us who have been following this company for over seven months now, we know there's no such thing as easy money. Is this some kind of Eastern thing? Far from it, Dude. We will have earned every incremental $ with sweat, blood, and tears. Feels better that way anyway.
12. @JoeMastrangelo8 is in this for stakes way beyond short-term gains: community, education, building something meaningful with one's hands, combatting climate change, fixing the US electrical grid. Give leaders the space and time to do what they do.
13. A cynic: someone who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.
Just because you identify as a woman doesn’t mean you are female and give you the right to participate in female sports or locker rooms.
But we are at the point of insanity now. Instead of just accepting your biology, we’re letting people redefine themselves based on who they think they are today, which could change tomorrow, and letting them have access to places they have no right to based on their biology.
