@PlayArkheron Looks fun! Big fan of modular kits to tinker with. Looking forward to exploring the variety of fighting styles.
So it looks like 1 item = one ability. On cool down or are there basic attacks / blocks in addition?
@Helldivers_NOW My primary issue is it's accuracy. Investing the time to fire a shot as an opening or when pursued but the shot goes completely wide of my aim? Takes away player agency.
@BikeMan I read too quickly and had whiplash:
"Clever. Draw them in with an impressive lego build - then hit them with the 'cat for sale' flash marketing."
For scale. SCALE. Geez, how much does that Star Destroyer weigh?
@VanillaFuryYT@Long_shankers@Helldiversmedia Always use cover.
Cook HE nade and throw it between Hulk's legs. Hits the heat vent when it walks past.
Eagle airstrike. The broad and rapid dmg is likely to hit the vent.
Precision strike. Needs to land direct or slightly behind. Hulks are resilient to AOE dmg.
@Pilestedt Hoping the future will provide a way to coordinate our color palette and material spec. Also voice packs! (Crossing fingers for a Patrick Warburton sound alike.)
@Pilestedt Looks awesome and opens up a sidearm focused play style. Collecting "bounties" with the booster is a nice touch. Always dig the sly legally distinct nod towards other IPs.
It's probably a tech obstacle, but a hat that flies off would become a personal side obj to keep till evac

Any United States congress people want to make millions of gamers (your voters) incredibly happy?
We need one of you to step it up and make an ESRB-style system for video game monetization. What does that mean? A system where, at a glance, you know EXACTLY what kind of monetization mechanics a video game is using.
Why is this important? Because this information is crucial to know before giving a company money and, most importantly, many companies are working hard to obfuscate and conceal their monetization techniques. It's terrible for gamers.
Monetization in gaming is rife with issues that could be made significantly more manageable with much more transparency. It's not in the companies interest to do this so, just like with ESRB, we need another actor to step in and help.
What would this look like? Could use a game like Warframe for example.
It would be "Free to Play" designation with 3 bullet points under it:
- Purchasable Cosmetics
- Pay-to-skip mechanics
- Pay-to-progress-faster mechanics
Something like that. Could also have "Buy to Play", "Buy and Subscribe", etc. Then a plethora of more specific bullet points under each one.
Anyway, that's the idea. One of you senators go score a bunch of political points and go make this for us please. DMs open if you have questions 🤣
