Don't think people understand the effort @IMS puts in to make sure that surface is pristine. That includes the Bricks which maintain that link back to 1909. When you touch them, you're touching that legacy. When you burnout on them....yeah. It matters. Sorry if you don't get it.

Also, you didn’t answer my question. Did you notice this in the past when it happened? Did you call them (Indycar) out when it happened?

@champwebdotnet Yes, you are right! Did you bring this up in the past when they did it? I can’t believe out of everyone on X that you didn’t see this prior and call them out.
This issue was one of the things I hated most that they would do.

@champwebdotnet You are not aware of the sanctioning body that is IndyCar? It corporation that runs the sport of the same name. They create and enforce the rules of the sport amongst other things.
I mentioned they never told us about their decision making, but it was obvious to almost everyone.

@champwebdotnet It is 100% actually true. You are making too much out of this. We all knew they were doing it whether they (Indycar) openly admitted it or not. The take away from this is a positive that they won’t continue to do it.
