Season 5 of Stranger Things is quite bad. Mostly the writing, but it's also the performances, the lighting style from the first 4 seasons is even taking some hits, almost every moment of dialogue that they want to hit some sort of emotional beat feels incredibly contrived. 🤮🤮🤮

@RunquistKarsten One Battle After Another its characters are kind of in service to its themes and concepts more than they exist as fully fleshed out interesting characters. The ideas and symbolism the movie creates are more interesting than the movie itself b/c the characters are emotionally flat
