Simply put the draw Saban had at Alabama was it was the quickest route to the NFL, the players that Alabama had did not come there over a $50k bag. A lot of allegations zero proof.

I think Stafford is planning one more season and then hangs it up. Not making this pick this season means taking a QB at 25-32 in the future or free agency.

@RichEisenShow @joelklatt Starts last year and prior to injury was absolutely the best QB in CFB, will sit this year behind Stafford (reigning MVP) this is not a typical storyline. The scrimmages at Bama provided better competition than 90% of Mendoza’s starts for example.

@RichEisenShow @joelklatt Ok 1st year at Bama sits behind Bryce Young (Heisman/1st overall pick) 2nd year sits behind Milroe (who sat for 2 years and was an electric dual threat QB on 3rd year in the system, coaching change and DeBoer had to stay loyal to Milroe to keep much of the team from portal)
