@Saint_Alastair Astonishingly good if you did that in 15 mins. And a huge improvement on the official version. May I suggest a career in PR/ Crisis Management?!
@NorthamScott Adopting the logic in the commission's decision, if a sporting advantage can be achieved without sporting success, then possible bias (or a perception of bias) can undermine the independence of the panel without any actual bias. Interesting 🤔
@AdamBlackmore 3/3 And the finding that this was a 'top down' approach does not specify if the 'top' means TE or another senior individual within the club. These nuances may be important. TE's position may still be untenable but must be careful not to jump to conclusions until more is known.
@AdamBlackmore 2/3 Also, when it talks of 'deplorable' situation of pressure being applied to intern, it does not make any express finding that it was TE who was applying that pressure (as opposed to a more senior member of staff within the data analysis/ coaching team).
@AlfieHouseEcho Just a thought but in hindsight could Saints have argued that the intern was there observing Boro's training with a view to reporting the data back for the 2nd leg play off match? Hence, 'spying' more than 72 hrs pre-game = no breach of the rules.
@upthesaints I did wonder. Explains the cameraman just 'happening' to be there to snap the intern in situ and the pincer movement to apprehend him. We shouldn't have been doing it but someone clearly had a vested interest in exposing it!
@AlfieHouseEcho Made this very point yesterday @AlfieHouseEcho (with my employment law hat on) - could players argue club's actions constitute a fundamental breach of trust and confidence releasing them from their contractual obligations? Cue a mass exodus in summer as players leave on frees?!
@AlfieHouseEcho Spot on Alfie. I said the same during the game - he seemed reluctant to call anything, no doubt adopting the 'VAR will sort it' mindset. Only there was no VAR. Shockingly bad refereeing performance in my view.
A new low for Yodel perhaps? Delivering back to us today (with unnerving efficiency), as the replacement for the damaged kettle they had collected from us on Monday, the very same damaged kettle they had collected from us on Monday! 🤔
@AlfieHouseEcho Things like that only happen TO Saints, not FOR them! I've been supporting Saints for 43 years and I don't think I've seen us come back from 3-0 down away from home!
@houseoffraser@houseoffraser Hi, my parents bought me a Ralph Lauren wallet as a birthday gift. Advertised on your website at £68 (reduced from £85). They paid £68 plus delivery. When it arrived, the box and tag on the wallet both say £55!! Is that not false advertising?!
