The Ryloth arc in The Clone Wars was something special. The whole first season really sold us on the clones and their individuality. Waxer and Boil forming a friendship with a young Twi’lek and protecting her amidst a droid occupation is just fantastic

So the surfboard logo was made in 2004, but was only added to the main opening credits Xmas 2006.
But, they crudely slapped it over the top of the old logo, presumably because they had already lost the files. Not even recreating the rings.
