@justsomeguyy_@TheGyropath@D548875715203@k1rallik Yes, but here it IS. The game is part of it. The store just thinks you already have the game, hence the discount. Their description and images and so on are correct.
@B4dD3cisi0ns@granottaa What? No, I would never! I obviously meant it as a blessing. Who wouldn’t want to get kidnapped by a cute little cat with a jetpack?!?
@Kalyx_triaD@feniu2137@Carrier10111@ShitpostRock But that doesn’t matter. It’s the fact that the system in and of itself is different. At this point ur prolly just engagement farming though. So have a nice day.
@Kalyx_triaD@feniu2137@Carrier10111@ShitpostRock Because it adds an extra step. A lot of people don’t take that extra step. Both in rivals and in Overwatch.
Most people stay for the play of the game because leaving requires the effort of pushing buttons. Same way the highlight of the MVP requires pushing a button.
@Kalyx_triaD@feniu2137@Carrier10111@ShitpostRock Except, no one sees your gameplay. It’s not hard to understand. In Overwatch, everyone sees it, whether they want to or not (unless they leave ofc). In Rivals, they just see the MVP animation. That’s it. No one actually clicks and watches the highlight. Not even the MVP himself.
@Kalyx_triaD@Carrier10111@ShitpostRock Yes, but the fact that everyone gets one and that you have to manually click it is what makes it different. So the patent doesn’t apply.
@Kalyx_triaD@Carrier10111@ShitpostRock MVP doesn’t actually show any gameplay at the end. It just shows who got the MVP.
If you want to see gameplay, you need to actively choose to click on the person and watch their highlight. But since everyone gets a highlight, it’s not really a play of the game now is it.
@Pharoah_furfrou @SquirellioN2711@crentist_dds@ManMilk2 So it had nothing to do with the metric system not commuting. There was just no use. Saying time is imperial because both draw from old European cultures is like saying the alphabet is imperial too. It doesn’t work that way.
@Pharoah_furfrou @SquirellioN2711@crentist_dds@ManMilk2 Meanwhile, the ‘second’ is an SI base unit, so time formally aligns more with the metric system than with imperial.
Decimal time systems did exist (like French Revolutionary Time), but they were abandoned because society was already built around the older, universal time system.
