With the election & COVID-19 & racism & civil unrest & the Supreme Court & our schools & the economy & on and on, this weekend’s service is a must for everyone who considers themself a part of the Grace Church family @visit_grace https://t.co/MkegCUPoXL
Be in prayer this weekend for @Visit_Grace Church (all 4 campuses: Olathe -- rain, rain, stay away! -- North OP, South OP, & Online). We're discussing spiritual warfare from Ephesians 6:10-18. (Hat tip to @roylblue Roy Bilyeu for the nudge to ask for prayer!)
What #blackouttuesday means to us -- deep hurt/frustration/sadness/compassion to the hurting in our church/community/society (Luke 10:31-37). @Visit_Grace Church is pausing for prayer/hearing God/compassion/unconditional love for all suffering from injustice/loss/violence/racism.
I’ve had the sickest feeling watching the videos of Ahmaud Arbery, Christian Cooper, and George Floyd.
How do we process it? What should we do about it?
Fervent prayer. Real compassion. Unconditional love for all.
More later this week...
