When bugs are eating buds – should you spray?

CCC agronomy specialist Jason Casselman found lygus bugs eating buds in the Peace River region of Alberta. This is not the usual recommended spray timing (that comes at pod stages) but protecting buds may be necessary if heavy feeding prevents flowering.
