When I came face to face with Bill, he remarked about the fact that we were both redheads, then he laughed at the page I had found with his picture. and signed my book.
And that’s why I have a Bill Walton autograph in my Larry Bird book.
My #BillWalton story:

I flipped through my copy of the Bird book and found a page with a picture of Walton in action during a game. Well, it was a picture of Larry — but Walton was clearly visible in the background.

Interesting article, but the @amyjokim podcast interview referenced within is the real deal.
I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I first listened to it.
