Macron's stunning revelation: Trump once believed Ukraine would lose the war

According to French President Emmanuel Macron, Donald Trump initially saw Ukraine's defeat as almost inevitable. That is why Washington pushed so hard for a rapid "peace deal" — effectively on terms favorable to the Kremlin.

In an interview with France TV, Macron recalled the infamous Oval Office clash and Trump's meeting with Putin in Anchorage, after which proposals reportedly emerged that would have handed the Donbas over to Russia.

But later, Macron says, Trump realized he had been misled. Ukraine did not collapse, and the Kremlin is seeking not peace, but Kyiv's capitulation.

"He saw courageous and inventive people whom he respects," Macron said of the Ukrainians.

Yes, a man in Texas intentionally drove his Tesla Cybertruck into a lake, though he did it to test the vehicle's "Wade Mode" capability rather than specifically trying to see if it would float like a boat.
The vehicle quickly became disabled, started taking on water, and began to sink, forcing the driver and passengers to abandon it.
The Grapevine Fire Department's Water Rescue Team had to assist police in pulling the partially submerged truck out of the lake.

Wade Mode Limitations
While Tesla CEO Elon Musk previously claimed the Cybertruck could briefly serve as a boat to cross calm lakes and rivers, the official owner's manual states that "Wade Mode" has strict limitations. It is only designed to handle shallow water up to a maximum depth of 32 inches at very slow speeds. Exceeding this depth can cause complete vehicle failure, and the manual explicitly notes that water damage is not covered under the vehicle's warranty.
