Great take. The doofus she's referencing here finally apologized 30-some minutes ago. Too little too late, as far as I'm concerned. Ladies, what do you think? Are you only cheerleaders regarding football games? I don't think so. Most of you know more than guys, including me.
As much as I’d like to add more commentary to the Bills reportedly bringing back Cole Beasley, I am simply a cheerleader and don’t understand critical journalism!
I just want to scream "Finish HIM" like in Mortal Kombat. Because he needs to be finished. Opinions like his have absolutely no place in this world. Utterly reprehensible.
Years from now I will fire off all the saved, drafted tweets I have crafted on this take.. but my rage regarding this statement really doesn’t fall in line with being a “ wannabe cheerleader”. So - RAH RAH - I’ll let your imaginations run with how I feel about this…
Living in a world where teachers and students have to practice their responses to active shooters in classrooms is bad enough. But when the threats are made across the country on social media like this was, that's a whole new level of outrageous. UGH!
Education journalists play a vital role in covering the protracted pandemic’s far-reaching impact on schools, students and families. On #GivingTuesday, support the @EdWriters Reporting on Education Fund and keep the information flowing!

I made it Facebook-official earlier today, so I'll also make it Twitter-official, as well: I'm leaving the Abilene Reporter-News, and journalism entirely, at the end of December. Follow @TimAintWriting if you want to stay in touch after that.
@ByMHarrington Hilarious still that they chose a name that already was used in their own city. That roller derby team is probably going to be the richest team in their league forever. At least I hope they got a good settlement in court. We may never learn the terms.
@sportsfreaknut Texas got rid of the applicable "government handouts" a long time ago. They need new talking points. They're short-staffed because the wages/assurances people need to work in food service in 2021 aren't what they're willing or able to meet.
I think the Buffalo Bills forgot to set their clocks back last night. And because of that forgot how to play football. This loss stings different than others. First time I've felt disappointed to be a fan in years.
10 y/o Josiah Gutierrez was one of many students from Ortiz Elementary who jumped up and down with excitement after seeing his “Wigglebot” come to life. Students worked in groups to apply #STEM skills while on our MXLab in TX. @TimothyChippARN https://t.co/WQ8xOoYHxv
What I was expecting last week to feel like is how this week feels. Sometimes you run into competition that is just better than you on a given night. #Bills will pick themselves up after this and be better after their bye.
I want to thank the @abilene_isd trustees and @abileneisdsupt David Young for their kind words this evening. Some personal news: I'm leaving Abilene (but continuing my employment with @ReporterNews for the time being).
