"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13
Some see this Scripture and are overwhelmed—I know I have been at times by the challenge it presents. However, God is asking us to seek Him with the heart we have today, and to bring the whole thing to bear in our pursuit. The whole hollow, fickle, calloused, faithless—you name the kind of—thing to Him.
You don't know me from anyone, but my brother, I relate. You need an encounter with the Living God, every day. Nothing will revive and transform you like He alone can, just by His Presence.
Pursue Him with all that you have today, and tomorrow when it becomes today, and every day after. Don't hold anything back, no matter how ugly it is. This is the journey of our faith, and each day is a step along the Way.
I pray now in the matchless and unparalleled name of Jesus Christ that you know Him again in the tenderness and simplicity of your first love. It was all grace at the start, and it's all grace now, as it ever has been. Trust Him again. Amen.
The various kinds of "alternative spirituality"—paganism, occultism, New Age, much Eastern mysticism, much liberal theology—are different labels on the same product.
Here are eight things they have in common. 🧵👇
There was a guy in my fellowship who always looked spiritually strong.
Always smiling.
Always encouraging people.
Always posting scriptures online.
But one night after service, I saw him sitting alone behind the church auditorium.
No phone.
No Bible.
Just silence.
I asked if he was okay.
He laughed softly and said...
“Do you know the hardest thing is pretending to be strong when you’re actually tired of everything?”
That sentence stayed with me.
He later opened up and told me he had been praying for a job for almost three years.
Nothing was working.
His friends had moved ahead, and even some people in church had started treating him differently.
Then he told me something I’ll never forget:
“I realized I was praying for breakthrough, but I stopped talking honestly to God.”
That night, he prayed differently.
“Lord, I’m tired. I don’t understand this season, but I still don’t want to leave You.”
A few weeks later, he got a job opportunity unexpectedly.
Today he always says:
“God can handle honest prayers too.”
Sometimes faith is not pretending you’re okay.
Sometimes it’s staying with God even when life hurts.
During the 2022 Buffalo blizzard, Jay Withey went door to door asking for shelter. Ten times, he was turned away.
So he broke a window at Pine Hill School and led 24 stranded strangers inside, including seven elderly people whose cars had run out of fuel.
He found cereal in the cafeteria, gym mats for makeshift beds, and gave everyone a way to survive the night.
Before he left, he wrote a note: “I’m terribly sorry about the window. I had to save everyone. Merry Christmas, Jay.” Police later asked the public to help find him. Not so they could arrest him. So they could thank him.
Pastor Sodi and his spouse, residing in central India, were subjected to a brutal assault on April 13-14, wherein they were beaten with large wooden sticks for disseminating the teachings of Christ in a village located within the state of Chhattisgarh.
"I am unable to articulate the extent of the blood that was oozing from her head. She was completely drenched in blood," Pastor Sodi remarked regarding his wife. Pastor Sodi subsequently filed a formal complaint with the local authorities, stating that his "family was targeted due to their faith in Christ." The police, however, refused to acknowledge the complaint, with an officer stating, "I am unconcerned; we will register a case of assault from both parties until we conduct a thorough investigation."
Heavenly Father, Your servant Pastor Sodi and his wife were subjected to a brutal assault for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of central India. You are cognizant of the injustice and persecution they are experiencing. Your omniscient gaze observes all. We implore that those responsible for the assault be brought to justice. Provide Pastor Sodi with adept legal counsel to represent him. Protect and provide for their needs during this arduous trial. Grant healing to Pastor Sodi and his wife, who sustained severe injuries. May the gospel continue to spread throughout the region, even in the face of adversity, as the blood of Your servants has been shed. We offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Me: sitting quietly in a tiny ramen shop.
Chef: Extra egg?
Me: Sure.
Chef nods with terrifying seriousness.
Friend: Congratulations.
Me: For what.
Friend: You've been chosen.
Me: By WHO.
Chef disappears into kitchen.
Entire staff suddenly start moving faster.
Me: Why did the atmosphere change.
Friend: You complimented the broth too sincerely.
Me: That's bad?
Friend: Now he must prove himself.
Me: This feels illegal.
Chef returns carrying a bowl that looks spiritually important.
Chef: Please.
Me: Why does this ramen have an aura.
Friend already taking photos: I've never seen him use that spoon before.
Me: WHAT SPOON?!
Old customer in corner whispers: "The dragon ladle..."
Me: absolutely not.
Chef watches silently while I take first bite.
long pause
Me: ...oh my God.
Chef closes eyes slowly like a warrior hearing good news from battle.
Random businessman starts clapping once.
Then the whole restaurant joins in.
Me: PLEASE STOP.
Friend wiping tears: He accepted you.
Me: IT'S NOODLES.
🇳🇬 Jihadists stormed a Christian village in Nigeria, and did the most HORRIFYING things ever imaginable.
THESE MONSTERS HACKED PREGNANT WOMEN open with machetes right in front of them, forcing moms to watch their unborn babies die before they bled out.
All because these families refused to convert to Islam.
The UN, EU, ICC, Western media, and even most Christian leaders? DEAD SILENT HYPOCRITES

@JustinPetersMin Just get an EQ with a notch (pronounced dip) and sweep it across all frequencies until you hear it drop off. If the notch is cutting out too much of the frequencies on its shoulders, fiddle with the Q (notch width) until you've isolated the culprit.
So I build machines for a living. (Video attached) Simple to complex machines and robotics for clients who need a bespoke solution that doesn't exist. Custom automation to fit their needs.
It was my career that turned me away from being Atheist. I wanted to be Atheist at one point. I tried. But my career wouldn't allow my brain to accept it.
Why? Because I realized our own body is an organic machine. Light years more complex than the machines I build, but the same systems.
We have a processor and sensors that can hear like microphones, see like cameras, feel like pressure transducers, taste like PH probes, and smell like chemical analyzers.
We have a hydraulic system that pumps blood at a constant pressure. We have air transport devices. We have 2 seperate waste management systems and an extremely complex cascading PID system to balance all sorts of chemical processes.
We have a preventive maintenance system that regenerates and rejuvenates the other systems.
And all of this is packaged on a perfect structural frame to allow us to move with ease.... AND thr most vital of the systems we have, come in twos for a redundant backup.
We are a machine. And just like my machines have an engineer, so do we.
You'll never convince me otherwise.
Now, when it comes to faith, we can be on all sorts of sides. I have faith that Christ was who he said he is. That he was who the deciples said he was. That is what I believe...
But what I KNOW, is that we have a creator and we are of superior mechanical design by a master creator. Period.
Christians in Nigeria cannot even bury their dead.
Muslims hunt them down without mercy and the UN stays silent because the victims are Christian.
Please keep them in your prayers 🙏
A Christian is killed every 2 hours in sub-Saharan Africa. More than 70% of all Christians killed for their faith last year were Nigerian. And yet 94% of Nigerian Catholics still show up to Mass every Sunday. The highest attendance rate on the planet.
Read that again.
This is what local accountability looks like:
In Festus, Missouri, a town of about 14,000 people, the city council quietly approved a $6 billion Ai data center to be built on 360 acres just north of Highway 67.
Residents say they were never properly heard. Meetings were held in private. Documents were released too late. A week after the approval, the town held a regular election. Voter turnout jumped 129 percent.
Every single council member who had voted yes lost in a landslide. A 70-year-old first-time candidate beat an 8-year incumbent by 40 percentage points.
Now a recall petition is circulating to remove the mayor as well. The lawsuit against the city is already filed.
Has your local government ever been held accountable like this? 🔥
BREAKING: Christians in Plateau state gathered to bury victims massacred by terrorists Tuesday night — but during the funeral, the Islamist terrorists struck again at the burial ground.
Where is the outrage?
I've been thinking about this a long time...
When I was an early teen, I said that if I ever got "rich" I would build a church and name it after my mammaw, Arnon Depew. She watched me while my momma worked 2 and 3 jobs to keep a roof over our head... She read the Bible to me every night, and told me stories about Jesus and Paradise.
Then I lost my way. For a long time.
The money came, but my faith was gone.
Not any more.
It's time.
I'm not "rich", and I'm not building a building, BUT if you are lost and want to find you way, message me. I'll send you a Bible, absolutely free of charge. No strings, no hidden gimmicks. I ask nothing of you but to use it to learn and then share the good news with someone else.
I don't care what your past is, what your vice is, what your life is, what you've done, what you've said, or what you've believed.
If you want to find the Lord, I'll put the tool in your hands to get you there. All you gotta do is ask.
Jesus saved my soul when I didn't deserve it. He has provided for me even when I thought he was my enemy. It's time I help him bring more sheep back to the flock.
You aren't lost... not yet....
Let's get you home.
The offer stands.
