Don’t allow a bad decision or season to halt your walk with God, instead repent and grow from it. Some will forgive you, some will understand, and some won’t but that’s ok. Use the lesson to become better and keep that chin up. You are His child and He’s not finished with you!

Dear Jesus, thank you for shutting doors I was so ready to walk through and forgive me for being upset at You for saying no. Looking back I realize it was for my good. Even when I think I know what’s best for me, Your plans are greater. I honestly can’t thank you enough.

Just because you’ve given in to temptation, doesn’t mean you’re a fake Christian or that God has given up on you. God calls us to holiness but sometimes we fall short. You’re still His child and the conviction you feel is meant to draw you closer to Him, not further away.

Being “set apart” doesn’t mean we isolate ourselves from the world or look down upon or treat those who live or believe differently with hostility. It means that we stand firm in our faith and do our best to live according to God’s word, walking in step with the Holy Spirit while we interact with others with love, truth and understanding even if we are mocked, judged, misunderstood or hated.

Want to know the fastest way to kill jealousy, resentment or hatred towards a person. Pray for them! With the SAME energy you would pray for your loved ones! And watch how fast those ungodly feelings fade. Repeat as many times as you have to! Don’t give Satan any room to operate in your heart. We not be able to stop him from knocking, but we can leave his defeated behind at the door.

Why are you hiding from God? He already knew you would fail Him long before you were born and yet He still chose you. There’s nothing you can do to surprise Him so don’t withdraw when you stumble, instead run towards Him. God's love for His children is relentless and sometimes when we’re consumed by shame it causes us to forget that. His love is waiting for you friend; you are never too far gone for His grace.
