Paramount says that a Yellowstone video game is a “priority” for them
The company is reportedly exploring gaming opportunities to expand the ‘Sheridanverse’, including shows like Landman and Tulsa King
it was hilarious, everytime they announced something bad, they had a follow up that was worse 😭
>from tv console
>to no sharing games
>to a must buy Kinect
>to being priced at $500
truly the biggest console fumble OAT…
Avowed must have really spoiled me in terms of combat cause Fable looks a little disappointing, the graphics look amazing tho, also I hate the tags at the top, I’m still excited but this melee looks stiff and generic. Damn
@Dabien8 frank caring about her doesn’t mean intimate feelings, they have a special bond but it’s just not intimate, where did born again confirm their feelings? I mean the writers made matt with Karen so tell me…
yotei is such an underrated game, it has one of smoothest combat systems in gaming, an emotional brutal story & really fun stealth.
but the world is where it shines, to put it simply ghost of yotei has one of the most rewarding worlds to explore, everything you do, find, solve, hunt and kill will reward you with meaningful items, from new weapons to tools to armor, not some useless stat boosts.
it’s a 10/10 masterpiece that has to be experienced by anyone who loves open-worlds.
So what's the consensus on Ghost of Yōtei? I kind of want to play it but I never see people talking about it.
For context, I thought Tsushima was a (mostly) fun 7/10 game. Did you feel Yōtei was an improvement or mostly the same?
just me or do third person games just allow for more gameplay variety and depth? like first person games are often limited to being shooters or odd feeling melee games (like dying light & kcd2)
when we discuss the best gameplay of all time it’s often great fighting games from god of war ragnarok to souls games to third person shooters.
it just feels like first person games have a hit ceiling and in general just feel harder to get creative with.
I think even raw environmental movement is done well in third person games, I mean wall running, parkour, double jumps etc (most of what FPS’s do to innovate) have been done in games like sunset overdrive, spiderman, jedi survivor, assassin’s creed games.
I’d say immersion is definitely on fps’ side imo
the OG black flag did so much more good than it’s bad, hence the community overshadowing it’s issues.
OG black flag has so many issues (currently due to being outdated) from extremely linear stealth to a two button combat system to a shitton of tailing missions.
Resynced promises to bring all these up to current standards so im quite happy about that.
Also I think the new chapter will enhance the game, as while I loved the OG’s ending, having an epilogue chapter where we see Edward potentially die would act like a perfect conclusion, where we see his full development.
As long as most of the epilogue is in mocap, I’ll be very happy (I’ve seen some new mocap being done for in their reveal presentation) - I don’t mind the side captain hiring missions being in the shitty cutscene format as those aren’t priority.
