Question for accountants out there: what will the CGT changes mean for large capital equipment investments made with full Instant Asset Writeoff during covid when they come to trading in? It was always going to trigger a large CGT event, but will it now have an even larger sting in the tail?

I can envisage it potentially making those purchases significantly worse off than if no IAW discount had been applied in the first place now that the rules have changed ex post facto
