Just finished @nadine Dorris's book. Rather disappointed as it says the same thing over and over again. But still a huge fan and feel she should be in the House of Lords. A real talent and brave.

@IrishRugby @VodafoneIreland @canterburyNZ @bankofireland Great match but I wish Ireland would simplify their lineout moves. Being a bit too clever and ending up losing the ball.

[Tim Purdon @TimPurdon]

@WhiteShemagh Yes very happy to talk, although there are others far more qualified.

[Tim Purdon @TimPurdon]

Very disappointed that @nadinedorries has not been appointed to the House of Lords. She is a strong role model for many and has much to offer the Conservative Party. A big and petty mistake.

[Tim Purdon @TimPurdon]

Oh dear! Great Expectations. So contrived - won't bother to watch any more of this series.

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and proud to say so rather than happy festival, season or whatever!!

Last day of an incredible SAF Association tour of Oman thanks to the generosity of HM the Sultan and @ArmedForcesofOman. So wonderful to see the way the country has developed since my first visit in 1967. So impressed by the Armed Forces- so smart, confident and professional.

Very sorry to hear of the death of Alan Beggs - stalwart of the St John Ceremonial Team, former Irish Guards Bandsman and well respected Secretary of the London Branch of the Irish Guards Association. A true son of Northern Ireland. RIP
