@RussMN12@CharlieWaltonMN I guess my point is the T-Wolves can’t just roster somebody in Iowa. That’s not how it works. So either we give him up to sign wherever (which is fine!) or he takes up a roster spot for the main team while just sitting in Iowa (like we mostly did with Leonard Miller)
@RussMN12@CharlieWaltonMN yeah I’m not concerned about that. Just trying to figure out if we’re going to roster him (g league assignment or not) or leave him unsigned.
@RussMN12@CharlieWaltonMN which means we don’t sign him and lose his rights, correct? or is there some mechanism other than a two-way by which we can sign somebody to a g league contract while retaining rights?
and the minneapolis police union is fighting this dismissal of a police officer for his social media posts calling for the lynching of a Black suspect, coming after he'd PREVIOUSLY been warned and received "social media training" for his posts
Mayor Frey instigates dumb new fight with the city council. He's pretending that a former state legislator isn't qualified to be appointed to the ballpark authority.
jacob frey and the city council centrists who voted against jim davnie (rainville, vetaw, warren and shaffer) want justin baylor reappointed back to the minnesota ballpark authority after his term ended
anyway check out baylor's city of minneapolis elections donation history
Reporter: Why now? Why not sooner? What was the breaking point to say we've got to step things up?
3 term mayor: Defers to the assistant police chief for that answer.
People admire Mayor Frey because he's constantly straight talking about problems as if he just got here, and we're lucky an adult is finally in charge.
Today our three term mayor announced we shouldn't call them homeless encampments. We should call them open air drug markets. Hope that works.

the minneapolis police department are still using their knees to pin people to the ground, 5 years after their officers killed george floyd while on the job doing exactly this
MPR reports they even did it for 5 MINUTES to a woman experiencing a mental health crisis
@NadineBabu@SuperStatsDave The last three we’ve played in, we lost in the round of 16, which is the round we’re about to be in. So we’re currently about average. If we beat Belgium (who is much better than any team we’ve played so far this year), that’s what we’d call progress imo
Last week, City Council approved several legislative directives I authored asking the Mayor to explain how things got so bad within MPD and his plan to turn things around– questions that residents deserve answers to.
more than 100 people came to the federal courthouse in downtown minneapolis this afternoon to show support to the minnesota 15
meanwhile, only about a dozen people are at the nicollet mall soccer celebration to watch senegal vs belgium
Minnesotans, have you seen a *ton* of attack ads lately?
Outside groups are using every legal loophole in the book to hide who’s funding a wave of attack ads against me.
But whoever is paying for them thinks they can buy this Senate seat. They're wrong.
Metro Transit’s former police chief went out on patrol without his body camera, radio or firearm, described female co-workers as women he’d like to bed, and retaliated against women who raised concerns about his behavior, leaving an employee feeling like a “daily target of monitoring and criticism, according to a report by a law firm hired by the Met Council to investigate his conduct. A female employee reported that she could not recall a single interaction with him in which he did not use profanity.
He predicted the seven elected members of the St. Paul City Council would fail to get anything done because they are women, and made other disparaging remarks based on the gender, sexuality, disability and weight of Metro Transit employees, subordinates and professional acquaintances, according to the report. https://t.co/eSyPLeuIDl
