Thanks to everyone who stopped to chat at the Hadleigh Show at the weekend. It was a great engagement opportunity for @suffolkpolice and a chance for me to hear at first-hand how policing is affecting communities. A few concerns raised but on the whole very positive feedback.

We heard from incredible women in policing today about their motivations & challenges.

Would you be prepared to pay a bit more for policing next year? Depending on your council tax band this could amount to between 20p and 57p extra per week. Let me know what you think by completing this survey: https://t.co/T7rzE6RZO7 Survey closes 2pm Thursday 29th January.

Earlier this week I joined our Independent Custody Visitors for one of their regular unannounced visits to Bury St Eds Investigation Centre.
I was great to hear about the sterling work they do to check on the welfare of detainees.
If you'd like to volunteer please get in touch.

Inspiring visit to Lofty Heights to see the VeloBuild Bike project, a fantastic initiative making a real difference to young lives.
The project, funded by my office, supports young people (aged 19 –25) not in education, employment or training to gain qualifications & life skills.
