Conservative Party member (I was Councillor until I stepped down at the end of my term when my daughter was born) Swindon Town FC and Washington Commanders fan!
.@Peston: That is a travesty of Kemi Badenoch’s position!
@RobertJenrick: No it isn’t.
Reform UK’s Robert Jenrick is shown @KemiBadenoch’s GMB interview and denies ‘manipulating’ a tragedy to score ‘petty political points’

Number of people asking me to comment on the Henry Nowak case. His father said "We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension". If you can't respect his wishes, you're scum. That's what I think.
When a politician cuts a tax and then makes a big song and dance of the boost they are giving to whatever industry, such as Reeves today, it’s an admission that cutting tax boosts trade and thus growth.
Why not cut taxes across the board then?
Everywhere you can.
@ArchRose90@Joy378291Ellie There's plenty I would criticise @AndyBurnhamGM for, but driving after a jog isn't it! Not sure it's really evidence that it was staged
Starmer has to go and @KemiBadenoch has just shown him the exit. Very impressed with the way she has handled this and exposed the utter corruption in this awful government
BTW, the vote is now a “Win/Win” for Kemi Badenoch. Either Labour MPs refuse to refer Starmer. In which case they’re directly implicated in, and toxified by, the scandal. Or they vote to refer. And Starmer is brought down.
@RicHolden Thanks for taking the time to talk to me with my young daughter this morning: she was very excited to talk to you and @KemiBadenoch (appreciate you spoke to a lot of people: she was in the Elsa dress!)
Reform couldn't have done any vetting in Swindon at all. Their candidate Costello is known to be a fruit loop by absolutely everyone. https://t.co/92bH3rdKfe
🚨 NEW: The Government has signed a new £650m deal with France to stop the small boats
It includes a 50-officer riot police unit to "disperse" crowds and £150m of the funding will be dependent on how well the French intercept migrants
Starmer is hanging on by his fingertips, but for the good of the country, just go. I have consistently said that after he won a large majority he should be given time, but his time has come. Britain deserves better.
