Serbian local hub presented TinkerLib project, its benefits and resources to the librarians in University Library Svetozar Marković in Belgrade.
Workshop we tested was inspiring for them - and other joint #tinkering activities are getting cooked now 🥘

After that - they visited @NEMOamsterdam Museum and experimented with electricity and mirrors. ⚡️
It was a very nice day! For some - it was their first visit to NEMO 🤗

Yesterday, we have joined the Pre-Game of the #NextLibrary Conference at #DomenAarhus 🌿 It was quite an ispirational day, filled with cozy activities like sketching, paper stiching, woodcarving, origami and talks about #tinkering with cake and coffee! 😁

It was created through the collaborative effort of the TinkerLib project consortium. Soon, we will also share a 'pocket version' of the Map–Guideline of Inclusive Practices in multiple languages: Dutch, German, Italian, Serbian, French, and English!

To round-off the Tinkering workshop series in Austria, same group of women learning German gathered again. This time, they made beautiful pop-up cards, expressing personal stories and ideas. Using different materials and techniques, many different styles of cards were created.

@ScienceNetzwerk and @buechereiwien shared their impressions: "Trying out Haiku forests with a new group was fun! The results were creatively presented Haikus in different languages."

Cooperating with Station Wien, the Austrian hub (
@ScienceNetzwerk @buechereiwien ) welcomed a group of women learning German in the knowledge°room. 🍃
Together, they wrote multilingual poems and the group created a mini-exhibition with different 3D structures.

In February, austrian local hub (@ScienceNetzwerk, @buechereiwien) met up with their cooperation partners from UKI for a co-creation session. Together with adult learners of German, they adapted two different #tinkering activities: "Haiku forests" and "Pop-corn book"!

🎊 Then, they focused on crafting their pop-up card. At first, it was hard to envision how the pop-up card would come together, but soon everyone was thinking and making and #tinkering with their hands.

A very enthusiastic group of elderly gathered at the @OBAmsterdam Molenwijk library to create #tinkering pop-up cards. They began by experimenting with hydraulics, even managing to lift a stack of books using hydraulic mechanisms!
