What’s really happening between Peter Obi and his wife?
Yesterday was his wife’s birthday, yet there was no official post from Peter Obi publicly wishing her a happy birthday.
Is everything okay between them?
Are things really going well between them?
Speaking on behalf of the D'Tigress team, coaches and officials, Head Coach Rena Wakama has expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for fulfilling the commitments made to the team following their 2025 FIBA AfroBasket victory.
She acknowledged the significance of the
administration's support, noting that the fulfilment of the promises is a strong demonstration of its commitment to recognising and rewarding excellence in Nigerian sports.

Dear @PeterObi ,
You remembered every political issue, but somehow forgot your own wife’s birthday. Interesting.
If a birthday post for Shekau would give you political mileage, I’m sure you would find a way to post it. So why the silence when it came to your wife?
You want to rule Nigeria, yet Nigerians are already asking questions about the state of your own home. At least pretend everything is fine and post the birthday message. But no, you chose silence, and people noticed.
Anyway, Mrs Margaret Obi, since your husband refused to celebrate you publicly, let an APC supporter do it.
Happy Birthday. ❤️🎂
Women supporting women. 😂❤️
At 17, she was supposed to be discovering herself.
She was supposed to be worrying about school, laughing with her friends, dreaming about the kind of woman she would one day become.
Instead, she became a wife.
She was a young girl from Akwa Ibom, born into a poor family and with very little power to determine the direction of her own life. Then a wealthy Anambra man, 35 years old, entered her world.
He was more than twice her age.
He had money, experience. He had the ability to make decisions for himself.
She had innocence, limited choices and a difficult background.
What followed was not a transition from girlhood into adulthood that she didn’t choose for herself. It was a childhood that was cut short.
She never really got to experience being a “girl”.
While other girls were learning who they were, she was learning how to be someone’s wife.
While other girls were making mistakes, building friendships, going to school and imagining their futures, she was carrying the weight of a life she was far too young to understand.
She went from being a teenager straight into womanhood.
And perhaps the saddest part is that poverty made her vulnerability easier to exploit.
When you grow up without options, sometimes what looks like an opportunity from the outside can actually be a trap.
But her story did not end there.
She eventually found the courage to break free.
Today, she is no longer defined by the man who married her at 17.
She is discovering the parts of herself she never had the opportunity to discover.
She wants to laugh freely.
Make friends.
Travel.
Dress the way she likes.
Fall in love on her own terms.
Make mistakes.
Experience life.
And most importantly, she wants to finally meet the girl she never got the chance to be.
She is not trying to reclaim lost years because she wants to remain a child.
She is reclaiming them because nobody should have to lose their adolescence before they even understand what it means to grow up.
She survived a life that was chosen for her.
Now, for the first time, she gets to choose her own.
We’re solidly behind you, Margaret.

Interviewer: What would Peter Obi do more different or better than president Tinubu?
Aisha Yesufu: Peter Obi doesn't need to show anything. Let's just get into power...
2027 Election: "...There are people who deceive themselves that President Tinubu has not achieved anything. There is no greater nonsense than that... The things that he has done are visible to those who have common sense. Because for some people, commonses has taken a flight and for some commonses has taken an irreversible flight..." - Babajide Otitoju
Shame on this man. I pray you never become the President of Nigeria not even in your dreams. Can you hear what this man is saying? Please listen carefully.
It is dangerous when politicians try to turn religious or regional identity into a political weapon. Northern Muslims and Yoruba Muslims are Nigerians first, and no political ambition should be allowed to set one community against another.
We should judge politicians by their records, policies and character not by attempts to divide us along ethnic or religious lines.
So, Governor Peter Mba of Enugu that you have been praising and eulogizing is doing you Igbos a favour for doing what you elected him to do?
You're supporting a Governor for doing his job?.......
Kelvin Novo, are you he definition of hypocrisy in 2026?
