Thank you so much for the incredible work that you and your team do each day. Much like teaching, this work is essential to keeping our country moving in a positive direction! 🌟
Dear V.P. @KamalaHarris,
I’d like to ask about the student loan forgiveness info that’s recently been posted to the official White House website.
I worked as a public school teacher from 2018-2022 and I’ve recently applied for student loan forgiveness w/o much luck.
Because education is always a sound investment and because there are a significant amount of individuals hoping for a change, I figured I’d ask.#askingforafriend#askingformyselftoo
Today, on Yom HaShoah, we commemorate those who perished in the Holocaust and the heroism of survivors and liberators. As we remember, we must also educate, so that the lessons of the Holocaust inspire future generations to combat the hatred that breeds genocide.

1. Listen to learn.
2. Lean into discomfort, even when your opinion is unpopular/different.
3. Take time to really hear to the truths of others, even if you disagree.
4. Talk about ideas, not people.
5. Affirm, don’t Confirm: honor each person’s offering w/o invalidating
Some guiding principles that my team and I developed for discussing matters of social justice, race, and Blackness this month and all year-round that I’d like to share are below. Let me know which principle resonates the most with you. 🖤:
For those who are having real/uncomfortable/tough conversations that delve deeper into exploring institutional racism during a time focused on learning about Black history, I salute you. These conversations are important, especially now.🖤

There is much work to do on the path to equality and true justice for all. My friends and I talk about race all. the. time. They’re not always easy conversions, but they’re necessary. 🙌🏾🙌🏿🙌🏼
