@_parasocial Boys in school: Hey Beth, wanna play on the playground?
Girls in school: Hey Beth, I'm gonna pretend to be your friend today so that I can laugh about it with all the other girls next day about how you were so gullible and desperate for friends you believed I liked you.
@Seramurai_ Not. Every. Gamer. Has. To. Like. Every. Game.
It. Doesn't. Mean. We. Are. Not. Gamers.
I've most likely been gaming since before you were born, don't try to gatekeep, it's tacky.
@G_JKR_@s_k_saunders@allie__voss They... didn't have the technology back then to find out in utero. If they had, I'm sure he would have been right on board. This isn't the argument you think it is.
@fatho3000 My bullying started in grade 4, I hadn't "discovered" boys yet and saw them as good buddies, and was making good buddies with them. The popular girl in class had discovered boys and didn't like that I had their attention, because she wanted it. This happens a lot imo.
@goodguynhans The popular girls treated me poorly BECAUSE I got along with, and got treated better, by the boys. This is a common thing and how my years of being bullied started. It's female intrasexual competition.

@IsaacHayes3 Hitler's pretty hated, so are Osama Bin Laden, Stalin, Mao, I could continue for a while. Did they possess something special that caused that hatred?
Sorry for beating a dead horse but it’s really funny how some women’s chosen response to other women saying that they have experienced cruelty from their same gender is to be mean to them some more 😂
@KatieInBoston1@DollyDa10106663@zaelefty There's only so many characters I can put in a post. The term intersex is considered obsolete, and is now called a DSD which is why I used the term, sorry I did not include a disclaimer that I did not mean all DSDs. 🙄 I also happen to have a few of those non-intersex conditions.
hate that as a female comic book character fan, and a gamer, it's just the norm to accept the fact that the women will always just be cameos or supporting characters, but never the lead.
A PoC is being shown in a negative light! The only reason has to be because it's racism, can't be anything else, it can't just be that what happened to the character would have happened no matter if White, Asian, etc. Nope, racism.
Backrooms is racist film. It’s technically brilliant, but racist. And it’s a shame during a time where Black studies is being eliminated on college campuses because I fear people are overlooking the obvious tropes and racist callbacks the film ridiculously displays.
@DollyDa10106663@zaelefty People with DSDs are not a magical new/different sex. They are still either male or female. Not both, not something else. Many, if not most, ppl with DSDs are also getting really tired of being used as a "gotcha/whatabout" in these types of incorrect arguments.
@SterlingWest I'm sorry that happened to you, and I'm sorry that you got no compassion from someone who you should have been able to unconditionally receive it from. I'm glad you're able to talk about it now, even if with strangers online rather than your partner, which I understand.
"Why should we have to say what we actually mean!? Men should be able to read our minds and not be tired of our games and refuse to play! How annoying!"
In the US the rates for physical assault by a stranger for men and women tend to be about equal with men overrepresented as victims in cases of extreme bodily harm/homicide etc. The more violent the attack the more likely it is to have been done to a man.
Statistically there's little reason for women to act as though they're incompetent victims who can't walk around outside by themselves for fear of evil monsters.
It is just not the case that It is uniquely dangerous for women to walk around by themselves in the US in most areas.
Yes, the average man can easily physically overpower the average woman. So get a gun. That's what less physically capable men should do too. Learn some basic situational awareness. And make good choices. It's not smart for men to go walking around through back alleys alone in the ghetto either.
This neurotic victimhood complex that women like to portray is mostly not based in reality but in their own neuroticism and ploys for special status. I'm not afraid of going anywhere I want. I know how to handle myself. I know how to avoid danger.
Our own safety is our own responsibility. If you genuinely feel nervous about an area don't go there. Bring someone with you. Walk confidently and with purpose. Carry a weapon. These are not tactics unique to the female experience.
Have some basic common sense and take care of yourself. And for the love of God stop acting like living without fear is impossible for women and telling everyone we're all as neurotic as you are.
@JAMvsJAM The Henry Novak issue is crazy because of how the situation was assessed and treated by officers arriving at scene. They treated him differently because of his race, so yes, this is about race. This is not people being "oh look, poc killed a white, GRRR". Sad you can't see that.
@Nyct0phil3_x I've thought about this lots too. After seeing post after post of women scared/hypersensitive to what I view as normal, everyday things involving men, I honestly was wondering if I'm the weird one, not being afraid of men in general. I'm cautious when I need to be, but that's it.
