Hi @WMPolice, really enjoyed chatting online yesterday, just wanted to check with you whether someone coming into a private residence with a saw to steal bikes is a crime? Because apparently it's not and asking it to be reported is rude. Thanks, asking for a friend. #sorry#mybad
For me, I am very suprised when customers do not express gratitude or meet delivery riders halfway! It really is the nicest thing when people do. I have delivered orders recently in the storm where people have not and it is the most depressing thing.
It's absolutely true that you can earn over £12 a hour working for #Deliveroo. In the same way it's true you can win a million pounds on the lottery. Just have to make sure you get a customer to tip you £8 and you're quids in. #IPO

#Deliveroo has announced a #riderfund to reward riders. In the run up to Deliveroo making #millions of their #IPO, as a rider of 4 years, I wanted to let people know the #facts and what this actually means beneath the #PR from Deliveroo a THREAD: (1/9) #ridersbeforegreed
#Deliveroo is hoping that if they do enough smiley faces and fun PR that people will forget that they pay people below minimum wage. They are not fooling anyone. Until they sort that out their company will only go one way: #down. #IPO
If #Deliveroo can't pay their #workers (who are not by any means #selfemployed) the equivalent of #minimumwage then they simply should not exist as a company and they should certainly not be making millions off the back of it. It is also #illegal? Or is that ok @GOVUK? #IPO
Is it not strange that #Deliveroo only set aside £16m for a #RiderFund but has set aside £112m for potential legal battles against #Riders. Maybe they could give that money to riders and solve the problem. Seems pretty #simple to me. #ridersbeforegreed#IPO
#DeliverooIPO's #flop has shown that they must clean up what they are doing to maintain flexibility but deliver on a worker status for its riders that gives them money they are entitled to. As well as a more comprehensive #bonus from their Thank You Fund for existing #riders.

As a #Deliveroo rider I have been punched, harassed, abused and disrespected on a daily basis. What do we get for persevering? Below minimum wage and a shoddy derisory bonus for more profit. What do the execs in their safe cosy offices get? Millions. #ridersbeforegreed#IPO
