We recorded our second episode yesterday with @colebrax in NYC covering MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. Jamie’s muscle shirt origins will be revealed when the episode drops on Tuesday!
Great snakes! We're thrilled to announce our first animated series to join the Imprint Television collection - THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN (1991-1992) and BLAKE AND MORTIMER (1997)! 🔦
Our Limited Edition release of THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: The Complete Collection brings the globetrotting young Belgian reporter to an exciting 8-disc Blu-ray Hardbox.
A character still as captivating as when the cartoonist Hergé first put pen to paper in 1929, Tintin beckons the spotlight with all 39 half-hour episodes of the animated 90s series restored in HD, the three Belvision animated films from 1963 - 1972, and two feature documentaries that dive into the history of the legendary character and his creation.
Years after Hergé put Tintin on the front page, his friend and fellow Belgian cartoonist Edgar P. Jacobs set about crafting a very different kind of adventure with BLAKE AND MORTIMER: The Complete Collection. Coming to Blu-ray for the first time worldwide, this bold and brainy series takes us against the forces of global villainy across stories of espionage, ancient mysteries, and rogue science with two brilliant British minds.
Accompanied by a Hardcover Booklet, this Limited Edition 4-disc Blu-ray Hardbox includes all 26 episodes, presented in both upscaled 1.77:1 widescreen high-definition transfers and the original 1.33:1 standard-definition versions, with both original French audio and optional English subtitles, and alternate English dubs.
Pre-orders open Tuesday 16 June! 📀
Record shopping in 1979 Rome just hits different. The disco track you hear, “Go Dance” by Billy Moore, was written and composed by Giuseppe Farnetti, who also wrote music for “American Fever,” the Italian version of “Saturday Night Fever.”

Is DRAGNET GIRL (1933) an interesting curio from Yasujirō Ozu’s early career? Or is there a good reason you’ve never heard of it?

THE BALLAD OF NARAYAMA (1958) isn’t quite a moral tale, but its stage inspirations let it unpack uncomfortable ideas in a unique way.

Rewatching the movies you love is one of the best things you can do to improve your life. People seem perplexed by the idea of rewatching something. Imagine listening to a great song only once. Absurd.
I completely forgot about this album, but it was one of my favorites back in college. The Moonstation House Band by David Vandervelde, from 2007. I haven't listened to it in like 15 years but it's all coming back to me. https://t.co/jO1krvesl0
There are few things I enjoy more than recording a commentary track with @AdamRackoff & @MovieKessler. Can't thank @DeafCrocodile enough for inviting us to participate in their upcoming release of Stanislav Sokolov's stop-motion masterpiece 'Hoffmaniada' (2018). I had an absolute blast reading the stories of E.T.A. Hoffman while getting prepared to record a commentary track for @DeafCrocodile's upcoming release of Stanislav Sokolov's stop-motion masterpiece 'Hoffmaniada' (2018). Thanks again for inviting me, @AdamRackoff & @MovieKessler to participate!
