GALATIANS 5:1
Dear Friends,
Your peace is important because it contributes, how much of your heart you give to God. Without the peace it becomes difficult to fully surrender yourself to God. In the book of 1 Corinthians 7:15 the Bible is even suggesting that if a brother or sister is married to an unbeliever and they want to leave let them leave. The Bible even says, "a brother or sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God has called us to peace".
If you don't have peace, it's very difficult to fully give yourself to God, and God wants you to experience Him without any reservations. Every person that God has created is important and that includes you, your value should not be determined by the people surrounding you.
The day they want to take it away they can easily do that, your worth is hidden in Christ. If there is anything or any relationship that takes away your peace it's important to let it go, guard your heart.
Galatians above talks about, "holding fast to the liberty that we got from Christ and not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage". Do not allow any situation or person to take away the freedom that Christ gave to you. So many people are slaves to validation and approval from other people that if they don't get it, they lose their peace. There are contacts you need to get rid of even from your phone register, people that you call and don't respond, text and they just ignore and at the end of the day you start questioning your worth.
Romans 12:16 says, "be of the same mind one toward another", but there are people who see you not as God sees you but as their subject.
The Bible in the same verse goes on to say "do not be conceited" which means do not think yourself as high or have an inflated opinion of yourself.
Be humble and this word applies to all and those people who are conceited are the ones stealing your peace by making you believe you are not worthy of their time. Mark and avoid them, delete their contact from your phonebook, you are not killing them but you are simply separating yourself from bad influence.
In conclusion I want you to think on these things, whatsoever is taking away your peace you need to get rid of, for God has called us to peace not to bondage. May the Lord bless you and keep you for His name's sake. Amen.

LUKE 18:1
Dear Friends,
Today we are bringing up again the subject of prayer for your remembrance. This scripture above, we cannot exhaust it because for us to become fruitful in our Christian life, prayer is essential. We all know that prayer is communication with God but it's not only that, it is fellowship with Him.
Prayer is a powerful tool that God has given us to use in all issues of life. Prayer changes us before it changes our own circumstances. It changes our perspective about life and situations, it empowers us to go above our situations. Prayer reinforces our identity as children of God.
Prayer is communion, dependence, thanksgiving and strength, it keeps us connected to God for strength. Through prayer dreams are established, and all the promises of God are
realized. Prayer changes your countenance, if you spend more time in prayer you increase in power and confidence and even the way you look. It's impossible to spend time talking to God and remain the same.
Prayer breaks boundaries and barriers set by the enemy in our lives. The encouragement is not coming from any other person, but the Lord Himself.
Don't listen to any other person who discourages prayer, because the Lord is saying, "men ought to always pray and not faint". Jesus is telling us to never give up praying no matter the circumstance. Who would you listen to in this case and even Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 "pray without ceasing" There is a clear emphasis on the importance of prayer. The more a person prays the more consistent they become, the stronger they become and the closer they draw to God. For every believer, prayer is not optional it is a must, prayer develops character and changes your mindset with the renewing power of the word.
Remember prayer doesn't change God but changes you towards the reflection of His image. In conclusion I want you to reflect on your prayer life, are you fainting or are you stronger in prayer. Most things in your life right now could be going wrong because of lack of prayer. Don't just pray as a routine, make the time to communicate with God special.
Present yourself before Him and pour out your heart without reservations. The more you trust Him with your issues the more He comes closer to you. Make sure when you pray you offload all other useless thoughts hanging at the back of your mind.
You can't be thinking about some pleasures you want to indulge in whilst in prayer. "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" James 5:16. Your prayer must be deep, passionate and sincere and not just because I must pray as a routine. May the Lord bless you and teach you to pray effectively in Jesus's name. Amen.
