Dear President Donald @POTUS45 ,

I am writing to you with a heavy heart for my country, Nigeria. We face daily attacks and kidnappings by terrorists, but that is not our only challenge. As the next general elections approach, we confront an even greater threat: what closely resembles the systematic subversion of our democracy.

We endure daily intimidation and violence from the ruling party, which has performed poorly, failed to protect its citizens, and driven millions into untenable levels of poverty. Nigeria is the largest democracy in Africa, and we urgently need international support to safeguard our democratic system through free, fair, and credible elections.

The opposition is being openly intimidated. As documented in various reports and footage, the movements of His Excellency Peter Obi, the major opposition leader, are frequently restricted, and his supporters face targeted attacks, yet no one faces legal consequences for attempting to undermine our democracy.

I urge you to treat this situation with the utmost seriousness and to pay close attention to Nigeria. Our people share many values with the United States. If Nigeria can secure a competent leader who will make our nation great again, I believe it is a country from which America will benefit enormously in the future.

We were told by the INEC staff in this venue that PVC for lost, damaged, transfer and newly done this year are not yet ready as it has not been received from Abuja, the only ones available are new PVC from last year.
This ought not to be so,the process has commenced since over a year ago and this should not be accepted by Nigerians as an excuse.
A voter card is not just a card, the life of Nigerians depend on it. For those that just registered last year go and collect your PVC’s.
