BREAKING: MAGA world melts down as Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell publicly admits that Donald Trump's tariffs would be a complete disaster for Americans.

"Former President Trump has proposed a 200% tariff on John Deere tractors if they're made in Mexico, are you concerned that some of the tariff proposals by the GOP nominee could drive up costs for consumers or hurt urban exporters in Kentucky for example?" asked a reporter.

"Yeah, I'm not a fan of tariffs," replied McConnell. "They raise the prices for American consumers. I'm more of a free trade kind of Republican that remembers how many jobs are created by the exports that we engage in so I'm not a tariff fan."

For once, McConnell is right. Economists overwhelmingly agree that Trump's tariffs would succeed at little beyond raising everyday costs for average Americans.

Trump thinks that tariffs make America look tough, but in reality they only make us weaker.
