Lonesome George was the last known Pinta Island tortoise to have existed on earth. In the last years of his life, he was known as the rarest creature in the world. George serves as an important symbol for conservation efforts in the Galápagos Islands and throughout the world.
After reading a bedtime book about Lonesome George the last giant tortoise in the world from the island of Pinta in the Galápagos Islands we decided to make our own to raise awareness for animal welfare!

Excited to announce the beginning of our shelter, 2.0 project that was funded by our PTSA. We’re also going to be donating it to the Apex community. We’ve also partnered with Shopbot Tools to cut the parts on their CNC machine more to come in the next few weeks as we start.
There are 40 species of dolphins, unfortunately some of these are at risk of extinction due to human fishing methods. This one is made from 2 inch washers.
