@potstew14@ScotsPolFed Exactly what has happened where I am, none of us have been moved thankfully. Trying to get himself promoted and using us as folly for it.
@west_response We have had numerous issues with a boss of late. His response which the federation thought was ill written but not inappropriate was to email us all telling us to put in our transfer papers and he would sign them. Can’t accept he is the problem.
@ScotsCopper One of these things I think won’t be resolved or get meaningful result.
I left the pension when it changed and rejoined it after 4 1/2 years. Had I not left it I would have 25 years service in 2 years, although because I wouldn’t be 50 so i’d be shafted again.
@ochwheeshtyou Seems just now there is very much a culture of get everyone out of offices despite any adjustments they need, and if you don’t then capability panels are forced upon them despite them being in a role they can do well.
@___Bert_@ochwheeshtyou I’m not allowed to work past midnight. Not had it happen yet, but not sure how it is going to work practically, but will cross that bridge when it comes to it.
@ochwheeshtyou Yeah hopefully. 23 in but joining at 19 has definitely set me back as stuck by pension now. Especially having come out for 4 years due to the changes to pension which I would never have done had it not been changed.
@ochwheeshtyou Thanks. Thankfully boss seems to have accepted the OHU input. Was very prepared to have a fight about it. I’ve worked front line with it for 18 years, but dreading the day I can’t do that anymore, as I know they will try punt me out the door instead of providing me support.
@hudson77449685 22 in and because I joined when I was 19 I’m fucked over by the pension changes.
Everything is a mess just now, not helped by the standard of recruits they are taking on or the lack of older cops to help teach them. It’s a sinking ship.
@ScotsPolFed Unsurprising when you consider we are now paying 13.7% monthly into our pensions. An extortionate amount. How many will actually stay the full service to be able to claim that without it being deferred to normal pension age. Yes I know the pension is good but come on.
@IainMcAlpine@ScotsCopper Sure it’s 20+ for 312. 288 for 10+. Can barely cover the leave periods as is just now with their stupid blocks and always leaves mega short staffed at end of year. I’d take the extra 7/8/9 days a year though depending on what length of shifts you work.
@polisbhoy23557 @Wallacebot999 @ScotsTrafficCop @MediocreRespon1@MissGolfAlpha@KiloPapaD11@TheStinkySinky@ScotsPolFed Not everyone could pass a CI course. The maths alone would put most folk off. 8 weeks of your life at college just for CI courses. Also how many cops have the want to be put under the extra pressure that comes with being a CI.
