Eek! Doing a last minute @2minbeachclean before it got dark & spotted a Tjipetir block, recognised it from @LegoLostAtSea post. Was reading aloud a 2014 article about it to my OH when he spotted another, face down about 50 metres away from the first! Happy beach cleaners indeed💙

Another 100 year old block of gutta percha from a shipwreck has washed up in France, this time found by Samantha Skinner & her husband. After reporting ours to the Receiver of Wreck, we received a letter asking us to 'look after these pieces of Britain's maritime heritage.'
