Unfortunate announcement: due to technical difficulties, I will NOT be able to record my playthrough of Pokemon Colosseum.
However, I will be recording my thoughts on it in this Twitter thread.
"The 3DS designs are future-proof and HD, Game Freak has no excuse for not doing a National Dex"
This I find doubtful. If Game Freak really had no excuse for not doing a National Dex, I'm pretty sure they would be doing one.
@TehChikorita I'm not wrong. I'm right. And I certainly don't remember ever saying they were making new models from scratch.
If I say I don't want to talk about something, it means I don't want to talk about it. Please respect that.
@TehChikorita No, but it does mean that there's a lot of work being put into making the Pokemon look better, and with 800+ monsters with several different animations each, it all adds up.
I really, really, REALLY don't want to continue talking about this.
@ArloStuff I think YouTube has mistaken you for someone else. I pity the poor kid who clicks your Resident Evil review thinking that you're Cookie Monster.
@TehChikorita I don't believe you're a liar, but judging from what I've seen, it appears that you have been misinformed on just how 'future-proofed' the Let's Go models really are.
@TehChikorita What I specifically saw was a jagged outline on a couple of the models, an outline made up of straight lines rather than a smooth curve. I think Venusaur was one of these models, but I'm not sure, and it'd be hard to look up every single model and test them from every angle.
I've spoken about this before. I don't want to be treated any differently just because I don't want sex. Which is why I never talk about my asexuality outside of the internet. No one in my family even knows.
I'm not saying it's wrong to be critical, but certainly don't be a jerk about it. These are real people making these decisions, and I trust that they wouldn't make the decision if they didn't have a good reason for it.
