I'm not much of an advice giver, but if you want to develop an ability that will give you an advantage in the future develop your contemplation skills. Learn to be alone and just THINK. Be bored. Make your brain do things it need not do when you feed it stimulation constantly.
Bingo. (In no way am I advocating anyone take out anyone. Using an analogy and an imperfect one.)
Don't take our Caesar and the Republic is doomed under his tyrannical rule.
Take out Caesar and now all the rules are gone and tyranny is almost inevitable by someone.
I think we're in the Roman Republic dilemma at this point. You can't let people get away with this level of constitutional overreach without punishing them. But to punish them is to play right into the partisan tit for tat retribution cycle, which was what plagued Rome.("Lawfare"?)
What the hell is this? So now our highest Justice figures while appearing in person to answer congressional questions are there spouting electioneering slogans? While saying we shouldn't be talking about what they're investigating?
If you're feeling powerless to do anything about the administration's assault on American values (and alliances, and rights...) Scott Galloway is orchestrating a way to apply economic pressure by unsubscribing to services from specific companies.

I think this is dumb.
A majority of the country:
a) Thinks what Trump administration is doing in Minnesota is WAY over the top
b) Wants people here illegally removed from the country
The more the debate is about "A" the better for Democrats. The more the debate is about "B" the better for Republicans.
See, that's where you've made a mistake. They aren't "arbitrary laws" they are "unalienable rights" that you get just by being born a person. The fact that you think they may BE arbitrary is in part why we are in this mess we're in.
At some point, Americans are going to have to relinquish the idea that Chinese military advancements are all smoke and mirrors.
I’m the first to tell you that China invests heavily in info ops, but they’re also investing heavily into engineering, academics, and R&D.
@AlexHollings52 I think it is most likely to be believed if and when we see their systems in action. The lack of real world examples of their performance is a big reason for skepticism.
And ultimately we don't really want to see them use it because it means someone is likely to die.
These ice agents may be wearing masks so they don't get doxxed, but if they shoot someone (anyone) their identity is going to become public. You don't get to shoot someone as a representative of the state and not have your identification come out during a public investigation.
Katie, are you objecting to the "liberal" part or the "democracy" part?
"Liberal" doesn't mean "left", especially when preceded by "classical". It certainly doesn't mean woke.
Tbh though it seems like it's the whole democracy thing that bothers you and Stephen Miller.
To ALL American small-government, pro-Constitution “Conservatives” who have stayed on with MAGA/Trump through thick and thin, and thus slowly walked away from and eventually abandoned Buckley/Goldwater/Reagan principles:

“ To "own all the libs" is the bait,
For a cold, authoritarian state.
With a boot on the neck,
And the law in a wreck,
You’ve marched through the fascism gate ”
