The Eminent Persons Group tasked with drafting PNG's Foreign Policy White Paper have completed this document. After 43 years, PNG has an updated document to guide its international engagements in the modern era. The EPG has also drafted the Foreign Affairs Act. 🇵🇬 Forward👉🏿
🇵🇬 Member for Bougainville, the Hon Peter Tsiamalili Jnr, became part State of Origin history when he carried out onto the MCG a forgotten piece of silverware. The trophy, engraved with “Interstate Rugby League Series, Bougainville” is from the first ever Origin, played in PNG.

During our VTC talks today, Papua New Guinea's Foreign Minister @TkatchenkoMP and I discussed ways to enhance our bilateral cooperation.
We agreed to finalize arrangements for Ukraine and Papua New Guinea to establish diplomatic relations.
Ukraine is also eager to strengthen ties with Oceania, particularly through cooperation with @ForumSEC on shared global challenges such as climate change and others.
This funding will help repair the region’s major transport artery, the Highlands Highway.
It will also go towards helping get kids back to school with Australia providing 1,170 learning packs.
In all that we do, Australia and PNG stand together.
Our humanitarian support to the communities affected by the Mulitaka landslide will continue.
We share PNG's priority to protect the most vulnerable communities.
The scale of the devastation caused by the Enga landslide is heartbreaking.
Today @RichardMarlesMP, @PatConroy1 and I visited the area and met with local communities alongside Papua New Guinea Defence Minister Joseph and Enga Governor Ipatas.
