@realDonaldTrump Dear Mr. President, today is 13th Dec. a day after your call to stop war between Cambodia and Thailand, but this morning Thailand did not stop but continue to attack Cambodia again since last night until this after afternoon. Please strongly condemn Thai aggression on Cambodia.
@BrianJBerletic@pati_marins64 Cambodia lean more toward China, not the US. If it's someone who press to start the chaos it's the US who press Thailand to create this conflict. Did you know how Thailand provoke Cambodia even after the fighting stop? You read many bigger pictures but miss out the little ones.
@pati_marins64 I wish you could Cambodia and understand us a bit better. If Cambodia want war why allowing Thailand to station troops on their land? About who fired first, please don't forget the incident happened back in May which result a dead of a Cambodian soldier.
@realDonaldTrump Dear Mr. President, I am from Cambodia and my country is now being attacked by Thai army with heavy weapons such as artillery, tank, drones and fighter jets. Please help to stop Thai atrocities against Cambodian.
On the morning of July 29, 2025,
immediately after the ceasefire took effect, the Thai armed forces illegally arrested Cambodian military personnel. As of 7:00 a.m. August 18, 2025, they have been detained unlawfully for 19days 23hours 10minutes.
The Thai army has admitted using white phosphorus (WP) munitions during its recent clashes with Cambodia, but insists the shells are not chemical weapons and are used strictly for military purposes under international law.

From Tanks to Shelling to Fighter Jets to Cluster bomb to Chemical weapons. Thailand waging war on Cambodia is undoubtedly a war crime according to international law. Thailand have never wanted peace, being a bigger country all they want is to bully Cambodia. #ExposeThailandLies
The Thai army has admitted to using white phosphorus (WP) shells during the five-day clashes with Cambodia between July 24 and 28, following its earlier confirmation of deploying cluster munitions.

From slingshots to all-out war: A wake-up call for leaders
The Cambodia–Thailand border conflict appears to have shifted from artillery exchanges and airstrike to the use of slingshots loaded with ball bearings and marbles — a development that may appear humorous at first, but carries serious implications, said Senate president Hun Sen.
He took to social media today, warning that what seems like a minor issue could easily spiral into renewed violence.
“At first glance, this may seem like a trivial or even humorous matter. But upon deeper examination, it is a serious issue,” he wrote.
“If we do not intervene, it will escalate from slingshots to the use of all kinds of weapons, ultimately destroying the ceasefire agreement that was painstakingly reached by the Cambodian and Thai leadership, with the active mediation of the Prime Minister of Malaysia and participation from China and the US,” he added.
Hun Sen said he had temporarily refrained from raising the issue to allow Thai leadership time to become aware of the situation and to let the international community understand the gravity of the matter.
He urged the Cambodian government to immediately order its armed forces to halt any such actions, should they be occurring. At the same time, he expressed hope that the Thai leadership would take similar steps to prevent further escalation, as evidenced by the images he attached to his post.
In truth, I did not wish to speak about this issue. However, remaining silent may lead the Thai leadership to remain unaware, and the international community to misunderstand the situation. The Cambodia–Thailand border conflict has shifted from a war using weapons to one involving slingshots loaded with ball bearings and metal pellets.
At first glance, this may seem like a trivial or even humorous matter. But upon deeper examination, it is a serious issue.
If we do not intervene, it will escalate from slingshots to the use of all kinds of weapons, ultimately destroying the ceasefire agreement painstakingly reached by the Cambodian and Thai leaderships, with active mediation by the Prime Minister of Malaysia and participation from China and the United States.
As for Cambodia, if such actions are taking place, I urge the Royal Government to issue immediate orders to military forces to halt their use.
I also hope the Thai leadership will issue similar orders to their military to cease the use of weapons, as reflected in the attached images.
It is quite ridiculous. Today, I heard that a university in Thailand, whose name I can’t even recall, held a vote to revoke my honorary degree.
Let me clarify: there is no need to revoke it. I already discarded that degree in the toilet back in 2008, when Thailand deployed its military to invade Cambodia’s Preah Vihear Temple. Your degree has no value for me to keep.
I hold no pride whatsoever in a piece of paper bearing your name. Hun Sen’s intellect was not born from your institution. Hun Sen’s intellect comes from the teachings of the Cambodian people and the schools of Cambodia.
The Thai army, accompanied by heavy machinery such as excavators, entered An Ses area in Preah Vihear and other locations in Cambodia’s sovereign territory about 11 a.m today to lay barbed wire despite strong objections from Cambodia forces, said Defense Ministry spokesperson.
Press Release from the Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia Phnom Penh, 3 August 2025
The Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia would like to inform the general public and the international community that, according to received information at 10:49 a.m. on 3 August 2025, the Thai military, in cooperation with Thai authorities, has instructed its remaining civilians in the border area of Surin Province to evacuate by tonight.
The same sources also confirmed that the Thai military plans to launch attacks along the border starting from the Tamone Thom Temple, Ta Krabey Temple, Preah Vihear Temple, up to the Anseh area. These attacks are expected to commence soon, prior to the scheduled meeting of the Extraordinary Meeting of the General Border Committee (GBC) on 7 August 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This planned offensive constitutes a violation of the territorial sovereignty of Cambodia before the GBC meeting, and it is a serious breach of the ceasefire agreement mutually agreed upon by both countries on 28 July 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, with Malaysia, the United States, and China as witnesses.
Cambodia appeals to the international community to help prevent this at all costs and urges the Thai side to immediately stop its planned aggression, if this information is true, and to respect the ceasefire agreement fully for the sake of peace and stability along the border areas of both countries and the entire region.
