Joining a conference would not have done any good. Today’s decision was done simply to screw Notre Dame.

There wasn’t any logic waiting to move UM ahead of ND if Conf championship game outcomes are inconsequential. If Head to head was a factor, you had it all year. This isn’t a serious committee. It’s a made for TV event. Expand and get rid of the committee. BCS was a better formula. For ND, you now know 11-1 is the worst you can do to secure a spot in this current playoff format.

Punish BYU for losing the conference championship game, but don’t punish Alabama and you leave out Notre Dame. The bias has never been more clear.

I didn’t know Grayson Murray personally. And am saddened by the tragic news of his passing like everyone. But I want to share a story only a few people knew about.

About eight years ago before Grayson ever won a pro event he bought someone on twitter a brand new car. I know this because that person is one of my followers.

This person was getting hit down by life in every way imaginable. This somehow came to Grayson’s attention. Grayson contacted this person, wanted to help, and bought the family a new car.

It was never talked about or reported. No one cared about publicity. Grayson just did what someone with a big heart does…

Make a difference.
