"Governance is the operating system of a nation." -@momardieng (Dr.), @ASG_Africa.
Recently, senior African leaders gathered in Kigali for the Strong Nations for Africa Programme, and left with a shared conviction that strong nations are built on good governance, not resources.

Home Affairs has something to hide.
We will call for an investigation into this dual citizenship & naturalisation matter. Members of Parliament & Executive are positions of National Security and South Africans deserve to know if their leaders are serving their interests or those of other countries.
"Are you ready to lead from the front?"
@TKPooe7 is asking Africa's leaders: are you preparing your institution for the next 50 years?
His course on Anticipatory Governance & Strategic Foresight at ASG equips leaders to stop reacting to the future, and start designing it.

The current ANC national leadership seem incapable of introspection, and electoral losses do not appear to faze them.
The current policy choices being made are unsustainable, and it is refusing to listen to its own members at branch level (let alone its Alliance partners).
@niphomadondo It has to be one of the great ironies of SA that a mostly white c-suite class are potentially the most committed or reliant on the idea of a stable, perpetual ANC gov, yet they are the least likely to vote for it.
Home Affairs has never had a single operation targeting the illegal American and European foreigners in Cape Town.
Mexicans establish drugs labs in North West, Libyans have military camps in Mpumalanga. All these incidents point to a reality of foreign criminals using South Africa as a base for their criminal activities because of Home Affairs inefficiency.
@BenjaminACronin That’s a good observation, most of the CCP members have read on and strategically understand the US and even European historical canonical work. How far have our political elites come towards trying to understand the global and south in this manner?
We're not merely living through a Trump war. We're living through the end of one world & the messy birth of another. For three decades after 1990, global politics felt settled: the US on top, the dollar anchoring the system, and finance broadly predictable

@Matlala_S It could the national team of Catalonia playing. Remember Barcelona is the expression of Catalan identity which seems itself apart and eventually splitting from Spain.
Greetings from Lusaka,
I speak on behalf of all Africans in saying Senegal are the only AFCON Champions of 2026 Africans know.
Anyone claiming to be a winner is forcing a relationship. Trophies are won on a football pitch, not in a boardroom.
That's it. That's the tweet !!
@CAF_Media You are taking African football back. Please let us see who sat on this committee and the minutes detailing this decision. Come to your senses and reverse this madness.
We are living through an era I call political creative destruction (PCD), a period in which governing institutions, elite settlements, policy orthodoxies and legitimacy frameworks are being weakened faster than credible replacements are built.

The SA gov really needs to urgently derisk and decouple the US from as many of our supply chains as possible.
It would seem prudent since there is obviously a significant risk of spasmodic economic sanctions over the next three years.
Three Myths that nearly collapsed the South African Power System:
MYTH 1: @Eskom coal plants are old and unfixable
MYTH 2: Only cheap and quick renewables will fix loadshedding
MYTH 3: Europe is a Holy Grail for Energy Policy
#EnergyLeadership
Why is EU pledging renewables? Why not Data Centers for AI? Industrial Parks for processesing abundant Critical Minerals of Africa? Cobalt, copper , lithium, etc . Why not Batteries and Electric Vehicle factories? Why not pledge money for the Industrialization of Africa?
