@American1nd1an@proud_native_am And you cannot raid, rape, murder, and loot over those things, eh? Raiding, raping, murdering, and looting will never cause your enemy tribes to move further away, thus leaving the resources for your tribe, eh?
What I meant was that Arianism is theologically indefensible. It relies on time being of consequence to, and a limitation of, the Divinity. But time is meaningless to God; this is a necessary feature of omnipotence. Thus, if at any point Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, then He was always thus seated and always will be.
An interesting measure of the power of Christianity.
You know how the Goths, a populous and mighty people, became Christians? They captured and carried off as a slave a single Christian woman. She didn't covert them, or not that many of them. But her son, whom she raised as a Christian, did. And shockingly quickly.
I don't think we can blame Christianity. Christianity has not interfered in the slightest with two thousand years of almost unremitting atrocity. Moreover, many and probably most of those interfering with our righteous sinking of those boats are irreligious.
No, it's not Christianity; it's weaponized empathy, arising mainly from leftism.
So who gets the joke?
The best swordsman in the world doesn't need to fear the second best swordsman in the world; no, the person for him to be afraid of is some ignorant antagonist who has never had a sword in his hand before; he doesn't do the thing he ought to do, and so the expert isn't prepared for him; he does the thing he ought not to do; and often it catches the expert out and ends him on the spot.

@zakueins Funny thing, Yolanda is mid 60s. I had occasion about three days ago to look at her face while she slept. No lines, no wrinkles, she looked maybe 25 and was as stunning as ever.
@james_IA76@EightBabyMizz Probably just retire them. Remember, too, that the Legio is mostly a reserve force, where every leader typically already holds three ranks and retires at the highest one held.
I did that for the ADCP series. Officers command, Warrants are all the technical skills. And, though I didn't make a big deal of it, the pay's the same, O5=WO5=C5 (Sergeant Major). Doctors and Nurses are warrants. lawyers are warrants. Mess "Sergeants" are warrants, hence mess warrants. Most pilots are warrants. (But further note, all of those, officers, warrants, and centurions, also go to cazador school for selection.)
It generally takes a few years longer to make sergeant major than to make lieutenant colonel. Warrants, barring demonstrations of gross incompetence or some character flaw amounting to the same thing, are pretty much promoted "due course."
