20 years ago I was offered a job @BLGLaw by Marc Jolicoeur. He was the one who later welcomed me in the partnership. He served as a mentor & taught me about leadership & giving back to the community. Nous avons perdu un géant. We will miss you Marc https://t.co/Vm6ndrBeMg

@ErinDurant42@CarymaRules This was the thing that made me want to delete Twitter. I have genuinely appreciated #lawtwitter this past year. I love seeing the running community in Ottawa post. But not after stuff like this. Maybe see you in the fall. People know how to find me if they need me.
It's a mistake to pressure everyone to be optimists. The world needs pessimists too.
They're the canaries in the coal mine who warn us of danger. They're the Cassandras who anticipate pandemics and sound the alarm.
Optimists may solve problems, but pessimists detect them early.
Community members are invited to a sunrise ceremony and Sacred Fire to honour our Indigenous children on Monday, June 28 at Ottawa City Hall. #Indigenous#Ottawa

@DoronJGold That’s when it hit me how profound of an impact this has been and will be …the day I wanted to buy an ice cream cone but didn’t want to go inside the store.
@_ashleeyash I’m super glad I took tax. Even though it was “only” income tax. It’s actually quite interesting and very useful. One of the best sources for understanding statutory interpretation.

I am incredibly sad for our kids. While I acknowledge it’s too risky for them to go back, I can’t help but shake my head at the decisions made and where we are. I have no confidence that we will have this fixed by September at this rate.
Full statement from former Truth and Reconciliation Commission chair Murray Sinclair on the discovery at the former Kamloops residential school and how there are “lots of similar sites” that will come to light in the future. #cdnpoli
In memory, I will eat one piece of chocolate cake, one ice-cream cone, one pickle, one slice of Swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon. Rest in peace.
@fordnation please reconsider your decision to not allow splash-pads to open at the same time as other outdoor activities like golf and basketball. It’s going to be over 30 degrees this long weekend. Please RT and email your MPP. #splishsplash
