@BrowncoatReaver @BradGalli Although irrelevant I think it absolutely would’ve. Galarraga admitted he got a late jump because it surprised him Miggy made the effort. I can’t blame Miggy. He was doing what nearly any other player would’ve done in that moment. Do everything possible to get the last out!

@louisbrown007 @BadSportsRefs And he deserved it. You don’t punish a well above average umpire for one mistake. I am a die hard life long Tigers fan. I have been unhappy about this call as much as anyone. I also have as much empathy for Joyce as for Galleraga. This call took a toll on him over the years.

@KeithMalinak I cannot say definitively that the catcher did not get his jersey but also cannot say definitely he did. No matter how this was called on field I don’t believe it should or would be overturned. I don’t see this as controversial at all.

@TheSkippersView I disagree. I feel purist have always wanted a consistently and accurately called game. So have players. ABS can make that a closer reality if done properly. It will improve and level the game. Megastars no longer having a different strike zone. Framing no longer as important.
