Scripture calls us repeatedly to pray for one another.

It also teaches that our prayers matter in God’s sovereign plan. As Paul writes, “the word of God is not bound” (2 Timothy 2:9), and the Lord uses the prayers of His people as His Word advances across the world.

Together We Pray is our annual summer prayer event.

We take this opportunity to pray for our training centers around the world as individuals and together as local church congregations.

This year's Together We Pray theme is "Unhindered," reflecting the fact that God’s will and Word are not bound by human circumstance.

The more that the world tries to oppose the truth, the more the Lord strengthens His people to proclaim it boldly.

This is how the church advances—not by human strength or strategy, but through the faithful proclamation of Scripture and dependent prayer.

In His grace, He invites us into this work: not to accomplish His will by our effort, but to align our hearts with it, to participate in it through prayer, and to glorify Him as it unfolds.

Millions in Latin America still do not have access to a church where sound, faithful preaching can be heard.

In San Cristobal, Venezuela, a group of believers has been gathering week after week, praying for a biblical church to be established in their city.

In 2022, these believers sent a request to The Expositor’s Seminary (SEMDEX) in Colombia.

Will you help us establish a church?

SEMDEX’s faculty invited the group to receive training and preparation for ministry at one of the seminary’s campuses.

The Venezuelans began travelling regularly to Cali to join classes and experience the biblical community modeled by SEMDEX’s partner church.

Now, that training is bearing fruit as they study the Scriptures, make disciples, and serve one another.

After three years of working alongside a team of indigenous translators and pastors, TMAI’s department of global publishing has released a Swahili translation of the MacArthur Study Bible.

Although there are several existing Swahili Bible translations, no study Bible of this size and depth has been produced.

Swahili is a national language in both Kenya and Tanzania, making the MSB invaluable for rural pastors and believers who may not speak or read English.

This year, the European Bible Training Center (EBTC) plans to release a new complete German Bible translation.

Over a dozen books have already been published as individual journals, with the full New Testament collection to be released at EBTC's 25th anniversary celebration in Wittenberg this May.

The EsraBibel translation, led by Dr. Benedict Peters (PhD, TMS), follows the spirit of the Legacy Standard Bible in translating the original text as faithfully and literally as possible.

Drawing its name from the example of Ezra the priest, who set his heart to study and teach the Word, EsraBibel equips readers to better comprehend the meaning of the original text.

Please pray that this translation will give local pastors and believers not just deeper understanding, but greater love for God and His Word.

The soil where the Reformation first took root has become increasingly hardened.

“Though historically Christian, Germany now is atheist in practice,” explains Lukas, a staff member at European Bible Training Center (EBTC), TMAI’s training center in Germany and Switzerland.

This steady decline is marked by cultural secularization, biblical illiteracy, and growing spiritual apathy.

Even within evangelical circles, churches are struggling to uphold Scripture and shepherd well.

EBTC saw a clear need to prepare men for the challenges of planting doctrinally sound churches.

Last year, the training center developed a church planting workshop to provide both practical and theological training for 6 teams of leaders.

For these students and alumni, church planting is not a matter of cultural trends or ministry preferences.

It is a matter of obedience.

Last year, Rick Kress, TMAI’s director of global publishing, conducted a workshop for Christian writers, editors, and publishers at 3M Institute, a developing training center in Madagascar.

What started as a publishing overview became a challenge to write, design, and produce a book in five days.

The result was “Mba hinoanareo” (That You May Believe), a devotional on the Gospel of John. Each attendee at the workshop wrote one chapter.

Producing this devotional in the Malagasy language reflected 3M Institute’s goal of putting biblical resources within reach of local believers— now made possible through 3M’s print on demand equipment.

Since 2020, TMAI’s Global Publishing Department (GPD) has been working in partnership with our schools to meet the widespread need for biblical resources in so many countries.
