@Josephk90@JackieBee_16 I agree with JB - teams will have a plan not to get beat by a McDavid when it comes down to one game. 2nd and 3rd line production so important in playoffs.
@PuckDontLie@hawkeye71980 I am not meaning to imply anything. Maybe the lack of transparency from the Leafs is the problem - most teams will disclose the nature of injuries, at least when the season is over. But I don’t recall any such disclosure about AM the last couple of years.
@PuckDontLie@hawkeye71980 Yes - that happened on March 12, 2026, which is about a month prior to the end of the 25/26 season. So what were his injury problems for 2024/25 and most of 2025/26, prior to the Gudas hit?
@PuckDontLie@hawkeye71980 What exactly is the nature of Matthews injury? Keep hearing it as an excuse for his lack of production but never any details.
@RomanObens@NJDevs82@NHLTradeRumors You are missing the point. Dionne, Thornton, Iginla and Luongo were good teammates and leaders. Hughes divided the room in Vancouver and then wanted a trade out. Same song and dance in Minny.
@NJDevs82@FleetFreaker@NHLTradeRumors And that’s the attitude that tells me you don’t understand hockey. It’s about team and what they are willing to do for each other to win the games. You don’t need to be a HOF’er to contribute. Understand that and you understand what winning hockey is all about.
@ChicoSharking@NHLTradeRumors That’s how I know you aren’t a serious hockey fan. Gold medal not even close to Stanley Cup. Ask Lundqvist. Vancouver had a good team - just no leadership with Hughes as captain.
@RomanObens@NHLTradeRumors What’s he won in the 8 years since being drafted? He was captain in Vancouver and the team was a dumpster fire. He is like a cancer on a team. Pay attention to reality not your fantasies.
@Guissep58163752@NHLTradeRumors He was captain in Vancouver on a good team. They were a dumpster fire under his ‘leadership’. And with Minny, one series win. Such accomplishments are worth $18 million?
