Young lioness player selection is a large group of non playing 18/19 year olds or 16/17 year old academy players with no senior experience.

Where to start?!

We have around 20 PGA teams at U21 level. Majority of players are 16/17 years old. Very few players exposed to Adult football in tiers 1-3 and very few get signed professionally.

Also see many 18 yo pros going on loan and getting very little minutes in tier 2/3. A number now heading to Scandinavia and Scottish leagues.
