@Theo_TJ_Jordan It's ironic how, in our zeal to protect our kids from playground and internet bullying, Boomers and Gen Xers wound up raising an entire generation of cultural bullies.
@MattWalshBlog I was struck by the concept that a toddler not old enough to speak somehow knew to feel "uncomfortable" in girls' clothes. Like God/nature (whatever the belief) instills within each of us an idea of 21st-century "gender-appropriate" fashion at the moment of conception?
@likeitmatters3 I had to look them up. Proof of my ignorance of music of the last 30 years. Liked this, though. Did I tell you I took your advice a couple months ago and read your Hill findings on your site while listening to Pink Floyd? Amazingly atmospheric!😉
@likeitmatters3 Reminds me of that YouTube show with Marsden and others who were defending Walton after you and RG demolished his story (it disappeared soon after). She looked desperate on that, not simply defending a friend. I thought "grifter" when I saw her.
@likeitmatters3 I once had an "abduction" dream I shared with a friend who, in turn, shared with a "psychic" friend of his. She told him I had really been abducted (ufo's spotted in the area the night before). I can only presume she was trying lure me into paying for her translation services.🙄
@likeitmatters3 Marsden strikes me as a mere huckster more intent on protecting her family's legacy. I don't know how much money really is in this field, but I'm surprised how many of the field's shining stars simply seem to need the attention.
@likeitmatters3@e_tobor Ha! I also cringed when I first saw your reply, but such crudeness does not scan with your Twitter persona at all, so I looked it up and saw that "obnoxious person" was actually the first definition of "twat." Never heard it used that way here in the U.S. (at least in my region).
@likeitmatters3 Attributing to you (or any skeptic) the use of the terms "crazy" or "lying" as motives for experiencers is also a clever way to cut your arguments off as mere ad hominem attacks against experiencers. Deflects the cult from taking alternative, logical explanations seriously.
@likeitmatters3 Emotional rather than pride or arrogance or dishonesty as reasons for refusing to accept thar they're wrong. Reactions are more like a religious epiphany or something.
@likeitmatters3 I know nothing about biochemistry. Can hypnotic regression cause some chemical release in the brain that "bonds" a false memory or suggestion to the experiencer? A lot (most?) of experiencers seem so emotionally invested in their exp.
@coolranchsnails@likeitmatters3 @55404elf It was also poignant, with his increasing concern for the old man. I've always loved Bill Murray and wanted to dig into his filmography for years, but I never get around to it. Maybe I'll rent "Lost in Translation" tonight. That, or "Zombieland."
