I watched my father bleed to death because a fucking police report mattered more than his life..
He had just survived an auto accident and was bleeding profusely. They took him from one hospital to another, but nobody would treat him because of a freaking police report..
“I went to LASUTH, and they said there were no beds. I went inside and saw that there were not even up to 50 beds. I asked if I could bring a bed from home, but they said that wasn’t the kind of bed they needed. They gave him a drip in the car and told us to go look for another hospital.
We went back to the private hospital we had left and spent ₦30 million. I mistakenly slept for five minutes and woke up to see my son struggling to breathe after they had removed his oxygen.
Nigeria finally happened to me. This government is not doing well.”

@Sonderisfon Michael Jackson… I remember crying the day he died. His music wasn’t just something I listened to, it was woven into my childhood. Some songs still feel like a time machine.
“I’m a Yoruba man, but tribe has nothing to do with who I’m supporting in the presidential election. I’m supporting Peter Obi because he is a man who has no bad record. People call him the lesser evil, but he is not. As far as Nigeria’s political space is concerned, he is a saint.”

Lately, I barely recognize myself. I’m trying to hold everything together, but some days it feels like my own mind is becoming a place I no longer know how to navigate...
@KateObi21111@DurojaiyeSegun Thank you so much Kate 🙏🏽❤️. I truly appreciate your kind words and prayers.
It’s a pain I still carry with me, I spend most days praying for the strength to heal completely..🙏🏽
